I was wondering if I could get a little more grunt out of my 2003 2.3 Ghia and came aross this Green Cotton Induction Kit Click Here!

I know it says on the website that you may get an extra 2 - 4 BHP but will it really make any noticeable difference other than perhaps a little more engine noise?

Has anybody used one of these? Or can anyone recommend a better kit?

Cheers,

Isn't there an issue with this type of filter damaging the MAF? I seemed to remember somewhere a posting stating that theyre coated with an oil substance which pollutes the wire in the MAF sensor.

I doubt there would be significant power gains, I have no doubt there would be significant noise gains.

Thanks for your replys.

I seem to remember reading on the forum that the K & N filters are oiled and some people had thought that that had lead to the early demise of the MAF sensor. In the post I read it also mentioned that the Green Cotton filters are not oiled which is why I thought that one might be the best choice.

I would say if ya want to do some modding - get a civic or a saxo. Shalaxy's are well expensive if anything goes wrong.

I have done the cheap modding thing on my other cars (corsa, punto, vectra and mazda 323f) and to be honest they never seem to give you much noticeable power increase!!! I have a 1.9tdi galaxy now and was wondering what i can do to beef it up a bit already planning on remapping it. and also want to lower it too. thanks

fk coil overs for lowering it and you dont lose to much on the comfort side but the handling is out of this world for the size of the bus
